Sira Spotlight: Expanding Sira's Footprint in the Market

The Sira Spotlight series focuses on one of the most interesting aspects of Sira Naturals: our people. Each month, we’ll be highlighting members of our staff from across the entire organization.

As Fall is upon us, we at Sira Naturals reflect upon the hard work and dedication of our amazing staff. The Sira Creative Team sat down with the Director of Wholesale & Portfolios, Nick Spidalieri, to hear his story and learn about his role in managing Sira's Wholesale Program.

What is your role at Sira?

As Director of Wholesale I am responsible for managing our current wholesale customers business with Sira Naturals. I work closely with the production team in order to ensure that orders are confirmed and shipped. Constant communication with our customers is essential part of my role at Sira as it helps the sales team understand the marketplace conditions and how Sira can help their business grow. Additionally, I am also responsible for opening new customers around the state so that we can continue to grow our product distribution.

How long have you been a part of the Sira Team?

I have been a part of the Sira Team for two months now and humbled to be representing our portfolio in the Marketplace.

What is your favorite aspect of managing Sira’s Wholesale Program and Portfolio of Brands?

I really enjoy the daily interaction with our customers and listening to their business challenges and bringing that information back to the management team to make decisions on our portfolio. It is great to be working with a really educated customer base!

Which Sira Naturals product is your favorite? Why?

I really enjoy our flower offerings. I am between Sundae Driver and Citrus Sap as my favorites. They both offer a great balanced high that really helps me relax.

How has cannabis affected you personally as a patient?

It has really helped me relax some of my anxieties and symptoms when I am feeling the effects of Guillain Barre. It is a disorder when your immune system attacks your nerves and can be very annoying as a flare ups typically happen at the end of the day.

How has your past experience in the Fine Wine and Spirits Wholesale Industry informed your work at Sira?

There are a lot of things that selling Fine Wine and Cannabis have in common. I think that my experience selling Wine Allocations and Futures has made it a great transition to working at Sira as this is how Spencer (VP of Sales & Business Development) built out our current portfolio offering to the trade. I also say that sales through education is something that we are excited to be launching. This is a standard in the Wine Industry where we hold staff training sessions and consumer events. Andrew and Jimmy from our Marketing Department have executed a great training module where they go in and train our current wholesale customers staff on Sira Products.

What sets Sira’s wholesale program apart?

A great production team at Milford that is cultivating and producing some of the best products in the state!

What’s your favorite hobby outside of work?

I really enjoy cooking a great meal and sharing it with friends and family. There is no better way to catch up and experience other people’s company.
